How to rip and convert Blu-rays, DVDs, and streaming movies to any device for free

We've noted that true HD content can be a bit of a problem on certan iDevices, so it might take a bit of playing around with the settings to find the perfect resolution for your device (though the 960x640 setting is always good for a better-than-DVD-but-not-true-HD experience).
