Congratulations Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao!

I still can't believe how amazing Manny is as a boxer. He's for sure one of the best boxers ever. I was able to watch the fight yesterday at along with some my Filipino people and boy were we going crazy! I'm very proud for Manny, the Philippines, and my heritage. Great fight overall.

Now where the hell are you Mayweather?

Pet automatic feeders and water fountains

I leave my two dogs at home when I go to work. I usually get a chance to go home for lunch so that I can walk them and let them relieve themselves. Sometimes when I'm too busy or something comes up I end up having to feed them when I get home later in the day, which makes me feel so bad.

Anyways, I started looking into pet automatic feeders and I found out there are plenty of styles and sizes available. This would make a perfect gift for my little buddies this Christmas!

Amazon has many to choose from too!

Running Shoes 101

So I started getting into running outside again and I found some pretty good trails in my area. I went to the Road Runner Sports, which tailors to everything about sport running. I never realized how important choosing the right running shoe was. Its really dependent on your arch type as well as the way you run. I found a good website called, "Road Runner Shoes", which has a very nice guide for running as well as reviews and information about running in general. Check it out!

Rocket Racing League

I was watching the Science Channel earlier today and they had a show about the up and coming Rocket Racing League. It sounds like an exciting sport and they're trying to make it the NASCAR version of flying.

The interesting part of the show caught me off guard because of who was involved in the development of the engines. A company called, Armadillo Aerospace, which develops reusable rocket powered vehicles, is developing the rocket engines for these planes. The crazy thing is John Carmack was featured as the lead engineer on the project as well as a member of Armadillo Aerospace.

For those of you who don't know who John Carmack is, he was the lead programmer at id computer games, famous for games like Wolfentstein 3D, Doom, and Quake. He is best known for his innovations in 3D graphics.

Anyways, I thought that was a very intersting connection there. Speaking of 3D graphics and games, who's getting the new Call of Duty Black Ops? I know I am!
